Press Releases VS. Ezine Articles

Today I just recieved the 2000th press release submitted by authors who, I think, did not even bother to read our Acceptable Use Policy.

This I have to again explicitly deliver, iSnare.com is a free articles directory which offers free article content for websites and ezines, press releases are not accepted so please do not submit them.

Here is what MSN Encarta says about what a Press Release is, “information supplied to reporters: an official statement or account of a news story that is specially prepared and issued to newspapers and other news media for them to make known to the public.”

That alone clearly states that a Press Release cannot and should not be considered as an Ezine Article.
