Long Articles

After a few days of reviewing articles, there were several authors who submitted LONG articles. It’s not just ordinary 1800 word articles, I can consider that. I am talking about 4000-8000+ words long articles.

It came into my mind to limit the word count, but instead of implementing it in the system I will just have to implement it in the editor’s view. So from now on we will be disapproving these long articles no matter how interesting it is.

The reason?

Chances are it will just sit in our directory with no one interested to reprint it and only few will be interested to read the whole of it. Ezine articles are supposed to be short and personally I think very long articles are not ezine articles, I call them essays.
