I AM VERY SORRY to all our members, clients, publishers and loyal readers!
Because of a very unexpected happening our main database server crashed and we had to recover everything. Lucky us it was not a fatal crash and only affected one table but that table is where the articles are!
It was recoverable but unusable so we have to recreate another table exactly the same and transfer everything!
I went home late from the office because of this and I made a promise this will NEVER happen AGAIN!

This isn’t the first time I posted my concerns about these types of publishers. Though I have not implemented a fine penalty for those violating and abusing our service which is offered for free, I am reconsidering it again.
Every time we got hit by an abusive bot hundreds of dollars are thrown to trash. Not only in iSnare.com but also in other content sites not limiting to article directories.
Others are fighting back with technicals yet others just ignore and upgrade hardware. Well, that’s costly as our servers are very costly as of the moment already.

We just launched an update in www.isnare.com today and if you are very good at looking at differences in sites then you might just notice. Though, I think it isn’t hard to figure out and look for.
Going around isnare.com, specially the front page… you’ll be able to see tags… Yes, tags… but one thing is different… they are not user driven, they are algorithmically tagged to an article from our servers. Once the article is approved and viewed the first time our algorithm will tag the article and that will be it’s birth mark to our directory…

It’s 2008 and also time for our bi-monthly editor’s performance review. But I am not going to talk about the editors but instead what I noticed in most articles they approved.
As I’ve noticed. There are alot of articles with URLs in the “About the Author” section which contains some really long URLs… Much longer than this “http://www.isnare.com/?aid=211608&ca=Computers+and+Technology” for an example of a long URL.
Now, as an article marketer myself I would personally not recommend you doing that. Why? Article marketing does not only cover online based reprints and also not all users will just click on your link when they want to go back to your site after one visit.
